Task Force for Sustaining Housing First Solutions to host public forum, March 21

Worcester – The City Manager’s Task Force for Sustaining Housing First Solutions will host the first of two public forum listening sessions on Wednesday, March 21 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Worcester Senior Center.

Members of the community are encouraged to attend the forum and provide input. In addition, the Task Force has launched a website where the public can submit comments and questions on homelessness: www.worcesterma.gov/hhs/housing-first.

A second public forum listening session will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Worcester Public Library.

The Task Force will undertake, from March through June 2018, an in-depth examination of Worcester’s community needs and resources in addressing adult chronic homelessness, ultimately developing a plan to employ the actions and resources necessary to sustain a long-term system of permanent supportive housing within the City of Worcester.
