Worcester Pride held annual elections.. New VP and Member At Large elected!

Worcester Pride held its annual elections at its first meeting of 2018 last night during their Monthly Business Meeting held on the first Tuesday of the month at the YWCA, 1 Salem Square,  Worcester.  This was the final meeting of Pride’s Fiscal year.

Pride consists of a five (5) member executive board.  President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Member At Large.

The board has begun the second year of a two year term.  The resignation of Debra Drew as Vice President created a vacancy and Member At Large Joe Mangiacotti and Pride member and Youth Pride Leader Nathan Manna were nominated for the vacant Vice Presidency.  Joe Mangiacotti was elected Vice President in a closed ballot election and Julie Khattar was elected Member At Large in a closed ballot election.

Both Joe Mangiacotti and Julie Khattar will serve their two year terms starting at the next business meeting.  The beginning of Pride’s new Fiscal year. 

Joe Mangiacotti has served the Worcester Pride Committee faithfully for several years and as Member At Large for the past year.  We are excited to see Joe move into this position and serve as President Bacciochi’s second.

Julie has come to Pride in the past year and has demonstrated her dedication to Pride and it’s causes very quickly.

This will prove to be an extraordinary year for all Pride Organizations across the country and its important to have dedicated, committed and principled members pushing forward.
