Deed signing event for former Courthouse, Dec. 28

Worcester – Built in 1843, the former Worcester County Courthouse on Main Street will officially become a taxable property for the first time in 174 years.

The City of Worcester will host a deed signing event for the property with real estate development firm Trinity Financial on Thursday, December 28 at 12:15 p.m. in the Levi Lincoln Chamber on the third floor of City Hall.

Trinity Financial was selected as the developer of the project, which will feature approximately 114 apartment units and complimentary retail space as a rehabilitation of the Courthouse and a revitalization of the North Main Street/Lincoln Square area
